MoBama - The mobile Fairey wallpaper

obamobile.jpgIt was my old pal MG that first got me interested in the history of bumper stickers some years ago, and one can argue that mobile wallpaper is a technological and personal bumper sticker for 2008.

Hence, I was intrigued when I saw my flickr friend Fason upload the above to his stream this morning with the phrase, "MOBAMA 2008."

Taking the Shepard Fairey "Hope" to a whole other portable mo'level.

On another note, I'm also quite intrigued by the vernacular of Obamaisms. Is it because the name has so many vowels? We have had so many candidates this year, but only one where a subset of slang has emerged. There have not been many McCainisms or Clintonisms, but each day, I discover a new Obamaism. Perhaps in order to run for public office in the future, everyone's name should start in a vowel...as it makes reading about politics so much more fun!

So far my favorites are: Obamazon a female Obama supporter perhaps who orders books from amazon, Obamasm, yes, the Obama orgasm perhaps acquired after orgying on his youtube channel, and perhaps the name of my next computer, the Barackintosh.

In this fervor of vernacular, I have succeeded in coining Obamadore (in reference to a picture of Obama on a door) with a little twist.

But i have to say, mo'bama is pretty brilliant. I wouldn't mind some mo'bamart on my crackberry or even making a mo'pho sticker. Any new suggestions are welcome. Even a barack the casbah video...
