The Unfortunate Foot Episode - View 1
A few minutes ago, while editing my daily work blog, I was scouting hotel videos. I wound up on a stream of a paparazzo, and curious decided to check his latest video. He had just uploaded something 3 minutes before.
It was entitled - "The Unfortunate Foot Episode." T and I wound up being the first people on youtube to watch Britney Spears run over a cameraman in her white Merc exiting a medical building.
Did this just happen? Who knows? It could have happened weeks ago, I don't follow these things, but one thing is certain - I doubt we'll be the last people to watch it. I can't remember ever viewing a video with 0 hits. And I wonder, how much interest does the public have in this drivel?
I'm going to embed this video and find out. Then pull it down and publish the results of our fascination with something I find pretty repulsive and utterly ridiculous. Though I have to admit it's entirely addicting.

Daft Kanye Tribute Videos - 6X Speed! Hands
When I was 9 years old, I was in charge of the family car radio. I only listened to one station and that was 102.7 KIIS, KISS FM, a Los Angeles Top 40 station best known for having Rick Dees in the Morning. My soft spot for bad 80s pop goes back to these years and until recently, just stopping the dial on Kiss FM made me cringe.
But something funny happened recently. My car got stolen and then returned. But when returned, there was no CD player and I found myself one day, flipping stations and stopped at a song I liked. I looked down at the dial and it was 102.7.
I laughed for about 5 minutes and realized that everything comes full circle.
Though I have to admit I'm still a little embarrassed I really like this song.
But I LOVE this even more. Who is going to be this for Halloween? (I may just have to if we don't come up with a group costume, but then I'd have to learn the routine...)

Beyond the Weather, David Lynch's Coffee
I'm in the midst of writing a piece on my favorite weatherman David Lynch and his upcoming appearance at The Hammer. It's going to be a night of Lynchian proportions with a screening of Inland Empire, and a live performance of Polish jazz with Marek Zebrowski. For such serious artistic times, there will even be the ultimate fix: David Lynch coffee.
You may have read that last phrase twice. I did the first time I saw it. David Lynch coffee?

The man, the myth, the film director that obsessed my teenage life has a coffee brand. And it's organic.
Now, that's targeting a demographic. One thing is for certain for most DL fans. They're not the decaffeinated types.
In browsing through the complicated flow chart that is the various blends, I became curious if there was something on youtube about this.
